If Chrissy Teigen and John Legend have taught us one thing, it's that a common love of food is the foundation of a great relationship. If you can find someone who consistently agrees with your take-out choices and who doesn't disapprove when you add a certain condiment to every meal, you know you've found a winner. In Chrissy and John's case, that translates to a fast food-friendly Christmas Eve.
As part of Postmates' celebrity series, "The Receipt," John spilled some tea on his top Postmates orders...and Chrissy's favorites, too. Here are the most Chrissy and John facts gleaned from their interview.
Christmas Eve = Mickey D's
For the last two years, the couple has ordered McDonald’s on Christmas Eve as a late-night snack (a little Kris Jenner holiday bash post-game, perhaps?). John told Postmates he has a feeling they may end up ordering McDonald’s again this year. "It’s a Chrissy tradition for sure," he says.
Pre-Thanksgiving Pho
Another holiday tradition: ordering pho the day before Thanksgiving. "We are so used to traditional Thanksgiving meals, we just want to do something different for the day before," John said. "And who, in the middle of fall, doesn't want some pho? It’s perfect."
A New Christmas Favorite
While Chrissy and John have ordered Honey Baked Ham in Christmases past, the couple's "new obsession" is Beef Wellington: "We’ve decided that Beef Wellington is our go to Christmas main dish from now on."
Chrissy's Favorite Sauce
A1 Steak Sauce is a common order in the Legend-Teigen household, usually from Ralph's grocery store. Per John: "Chrissy insists on having A1 for her steak no matter how blasphemous that is to any steak people."
