As of December 1, we will be living in a world where edible slime exists. Yes, my friends, JELL-O has created "unicorn" and "monster" slime that is 100 percent edible.
The unicorn version of the slime is pretty, pretty pink and is strawberry-flavored, of course. All you have to do is "just add water to the mix" to get a batch of it together. From there, "you can play with it and eat it!" JELL-O promises. (In case the edible-ness of it all still concerns you, know it's essentially just a combination of food starch, sugar, and gelatin that you hydrate.)
The monster version requires the same minimal amount of effort to make, but is, you know, green. Like monster-green.
Other things to know before making (and eating) your slime? "The slime stretches if you pull it slowly, but snaps if you pull it apart fast," JELL-O continues. "It's firm if you squeeze it, but it can also pour and drip like a liquid!"
Each version is currently going for $9.99 a pack and is available for pre-order now, though, again, you won't actually get your hands on the slime until December 1.
