Hello! Have you thought at all about fried meat today? Doubt it. Let's jump right in! Cracker Barrel is serving country-fried turkey this holiday season, and it's exactly as delicious—and caloric—as you'd think!
According to Brand Eating, the new entrée is part of a limited-time 2018 holiday menu. That means it'll only be around until December 30th. What does a country-fried turkey entrée from Cracker Barrel entail, you ask? Well, it's "tender turkey filets hand-breaded and fried ’til crispy, then topped with creamy herbed pan gravy."
Also, it "comes with our new green bean casserole, your choice of one additional side, sampling of cranberry relish, and homemade buttermilk biscuits or corn muffins," Cracker Barrel explains.
If country-fried turkey doesn't tickle your Thanksgiving fancy, though, there's plenty more on that aforementioned limited-time menu you might like. The green bean casserole sounds great ("green beans in savory mushroom sauce, topped with house-made fried onion straws"), as does the new salted caramel ice cream you can top all pies with and the new Southern Praline Latte.
All of this is only available at participating Cracker Barrel locations, so call ahead and ask about the specifics if you're concerned yours isn't one of them. Otherwise, have a country-fried ball.
