In case you missed it, we are OFFICIALLY knee deep in the holiday season. And what better way to celebrate than doubling up on the sweets? Dunkin's 2018 holiday menu is rolling out to stores nationwide next Monday, and the star of the show is without a doubt the Hershey's Kisses-topped donut. This is the first time Dunkin' has added mini Hershey's to a donut (this one is vanilla frosted, BTW), and they didn't hold back. Look at all the chocolate on this beauty!
There's also a Santa Claus-inspired donut made to look like jolly old Saint Nick's belly. The red frosted donut has a line of chocolate icing around the middle where Santa's belt and buttons would be, as well as a powdered Munchkins donut hole right in the center. Like the Spider Donut before it, this two-donut-in-one treat is expected to be a hit.
On the savory front, Dunkin' is adding a Holiday Spice Bacon Breakfast Sandwich to the limited-time menu. It's got a double portion of sweet, cinnamon and brown sugar bacon, plus an egg and cheese, all stacked between a warm croissant. Plus, a new cinnamon cream cheese spread to go on your bagels.
Coffee-wise, the new Cinnamon Sticky Bun coffee and lattes will happily replace your pumpkin and maple fall drinks. It's made to taste like a cinnamon bun, frosting-flavor included. Also on the winter menu: white chocolate coffees and lattes, made with a mix of white chocolate and vanilla flavors.
After the holidays are through, you can look forward to a Lava Cake Donut which is FILLED with brownie batter and coated in powdered sugar. It's served warm to get the proper lava cake effect. If you're a fan of Dunkin's chocolate glazed cake donuts, this will be your jam.
