• Netflix will add a new season of The Great British Baking Show on November 9.
  • That's only 10 days after the season aired its finale on Channel 4 in the U.K.
  • It's the quickest turnaround yet, so beware of spoilers.

There’s a new season of The Great British Baking Show hitting Netflix November 9, and it’s the quickest turnaround from airing in the U.K. to streaming in the U.S. yet.

The season, which is the ninth season of The Great British Bake Off across the pond but only the sixth to air in the United States, just aired its finale on Channel 4 this week. Forbes notes that’s just a 10-day gap, and previously Americans had to wait months for the show to hit PBS, and then even longer for episodes to get on Netflix.

This news is great for people who have already binged everything they could, but it could be dangerous for fans who get too curious. A word of advice: Don’t Google anything about the season until you have finished watching the finale, because you could very easily land on a big spoiler or two from the British press.

The season features the same team introduced when the show moved from the BBC to Channel Four for the previous season: judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith, and hosts Sandi Toksvig and Noel Fielding. And it was teased to British viewers through a wacky (and kind of creepy) trailer featuring singing pastries.

This isn’t the only Great British Baking Show season ready to hit Netflix. The streaming service plans to air holiday specials in 2018, 2019, and 2020, and make the show’s first three seasons—which never aired in the United States—available later in the year as The Great British Baking Show: The Beginnings. So there are plenty of soggy bottoms to come.
