You may not be able to get a Happy Meal from the dollar menu anymore, but McDonald's recently announced a new deal that may ease some of the Happy Meal disappointment. Beginning November 1, you can get a full meal from McDonald's for just six bucks.
The $6 Classic Meal Deal is true to its name: You get to choose from McDonald's classic items for a serious deal. According to McDonald's website, the Classic Meal Deal is "designed to provide a complete meal for deal-seeking customers or those simply looking to treat themselves." You have your choice of four iconic menu items: Quarter Pounder with cheese, 10-piece McNugget, Big Mac, or Filet-O-Fish. Oh, the options!
That's not all, though—we're talking about a meal, remember?! In addition to the entree, you'll get a small order of fries and any size soft drink or sweet tea to wash it all down. For dessert, each meal includes an apple pie or seasonal pie.
Per the McDonald's app, a Quarter Pounder with cheese in New York is normally $5.49 alone, and it's $9.19 as a meal. So, if you're hungry enough, the Classic Meal Deal definitely will be the way to go. Make sure you take advantage of the deal soon, though, because it's only available for a limited time at participating restaurants.
