Everything else on this planet has been made in a weird, semi-fall-adjacent flavor, so why wouldn't we have pumpkin and candy beer now? That's exactly what Second Chance Brewery in San Diego, California, thought, we have to presume, when they announced their new trio of beers, flavored like pumpkin, Sour Patch Kids, and Runts.
The "Pumpkin Pi" flavor, which they roll out every year, is a "rich brown ale that is brewed with organic roasted pumpkin, brown sugar and quintessential Fall spices, including cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg." It's 6.7 percent ABV and a "fan favorite," a press release from the brewery explains.
It's also—oh, you're through talking about pumpkin beer? You came to learn about the other stuff I mentioned before? OK, fine here's what I know about the Sour Patch Kids and Runts beers Second Chance Brewery is selling:
"The brewery will have Halloween beer flights at its beer lounge on October 27 & 28 which include the Pumpkin Pi beer, along with a Banana Runts Porter, Lemon Sour Patch Kids Slightly Sour and Candied Apple Mulligan."
THAT'S IT! That's all I've got from the brewery.
Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.
