If you're the kind of person that lives for spicy eating challenges, boy oh boy, do I have a task for you. Taco Bell released a list of new menu items being tested this fall, and in the mix is one very hot burrito.
The Reaper Ranch Quesarito adds Carolina Reaper-infused ranch sauce—the hottest pepper in the world—to a Quesarito. That's a burrito that's wrapped in a quesadilla, with double layers of reaper ranch and nacho cheese sauce. Oh, there's also seasoned beef and rice inside. It's a creamy, cheesy mess that probably doesn't need hot sauce...but feel free to add it as you wish.
The extra-hot Quesarito is being tested in Milwaukee, WI, so if you want to try it, for now, you'll have to head to Wisconsin. It's on the menu for $2.99 or can be ordered as part of a $5 Box that includes the Quesarito, two crunchy tacos, and a medium drink. The sauce was tested as a topping on two loaded fries dishes in Ohio this August.
Also on the fall line-up: A cheese-crusted taco called the Toasted Cheddar Chalupa. It's made in a fried chalupa shell with toasted cheddar cheese and has seasoned beef, lettuce, tomatoes, cheddar cheese, and sour cream inside. These are being tested in Flint, MI.
Both test items with be on menus in their respective locations through mid-November!
