For Chip and Joanna Gaines, Magnolia Market’s annual Silobration has taken on a new meaning over the years.
Ahead of the three-day Waco, Texas event, which commemorates the store's anniversary, Joanna shared an uplifting message on social media reflecting on the celebration and its special significance to the one-time struggling entrepreneur.
"After walking through the vendor fair last night, I started thinking about all of the courage and creativity that's lining the streets for #silobration this weekend," she wrote on Instagram. "I don't know all of your stories but what I do know is that when you started your businesses, you stepped out of your comfort zone and left 'safe' to do something you love and are passionate about."
The Fixer Upper star added,"That's a big risk and a hard leap to take. But you did it and now the world is a more beautiful place because of it. Thank you for sharing your gifts and talents with us!"
The Magnolia Market event also serves as a sweet reminder of their four-month-old baby, Crew, who was conceived after music group Johnnyswim's Silobration concert last year, according to Chip. "A few months back the ever amazing, ever romantic @Johnnyswim was in Waco," he wrote on Twitter, "and they put on a little too romantic of a concert. Anyways, one thing led to another, and we are officially pregnant."
This year's festivities are set to be even better than ever. During the day, anyone can stop by to check out the grounds, shop the Vendor Fair, enjoy local treats, or explore one of the many fun features like the Magnolia Table food truck and the succulent potting station.
And during the evening, folks can grab tickets to see Johnnyswim and Drew Holcomb perform after Chip and Joanna stop by to reveal this year's Chipstarter winners. Happy silobrating!
