Fall is here! Time for PSLs and apple picking and Halloween costumes and... getting buried alive and chased by killer clowns with chainsaws.

At Extreme Blackout, a 'Field of Screams' event in Lancaster, Pennsylvania on November 9, guests of all ages pay up to $50 to get ~temporarily~ buried alive in a coffin in the middle of a cornfield. Oh, and you also get locked in cages and tortured with chainsaws. NBD. Also, the chainsaw thing sounds like it's sort of an after-thought, which makes everything else the event organizers have in mind seem even more insanely terrifying?

This is an extremely intense version of the four 'Field of Screams' Haunted Experiences. The lights will be turned down and the intensity level will be cranked up. Guests will be subjected to new methods of torture, physical restraint, and isolation that are not a part of the regular show. For example, during the hayride, select guests will be escorted off the wagon, taken to a cornfield, and buried (temporarily) in coffins. Guests can also expected to be locked in cages and tortured with chainsaws.

There'll be creepy clowns popping up everywhere and killer doctors to scare the living crap out of you.

Delish: Eat Like Every Day’s the Weekend

This is the second year Extreme Blackout has been put on in rural Pennsylvania—and it's not for the faint of heart. "Extreme scare tactics and fear-inducing techniques will be incorporated," according to their site. There will be horror worse than guests' "worst nightmares," event coordinators explain, with "demented creatures and bloody sights unlike anything else."

Ticket prices are $45 in advance online before November 9 or $50 at the door or online the day of, if space is still available—given the circumstances, it's not unreasonable to think some people might wuss out at the last minute. You have to sign a waiver and if you're not 18 your parent or legal guardian will have to sign a waiver.

According to Extreme Blackout's site, "not all will survive" the night. And on that note, then, where do we sign up?!
