We can always count on Dunkin' to help us get into the holiday spirit. This week, the coffee and donut chain announced their Halloween specials, and they're just as festive as last year's line-up.
New to menus this year: a collab with Oreo. Dunkin' has featured Oreo drinks on menus before, and is bringing back Oreo hot chocolate this fall, but now, they're also making an Oreo donut. The yeast donut comes filled with vanilla buttercream and topped with chocolate icing, crumbled Oreos, and a drizzled of dark orange icing.
If you're still dreaming about last year's donuts, rest assured: The Spider Donut made a comeback this fall. The classic donut (and obvious fan favorite) comes with a second donut—a chocolate Munchkin!—on top. It's also frosted with orange icing and a chocolate drizzle to make the eyes and legs.
Dunkin' will be dressing up other classic donuts with orange and purple icing drizzles and sprinkles, too. FYI: While the Spider Donut is only available at Dunkin' through Halloween, the Oreo Donut and Oreo Hot Chocolate are both available into November.
Oreos and donuts are a proven combo: Krispy Kreme made a similarly festive Oreo donut earlier this year for Valentine's Day. And cookies and cream tastes great with just about anything. Just try these. Or these. Or buy this casual 9-pound tub of cookies and cream frosting. Whatever it takes to satisfy your cookie-loving heart.
