In today's most bougie food news, Popeyes is celebrating the opening of its 3,000th restaurant in a big way: with champagne-battered gold chicken wings.
“We wanted to share this celebration with our fans, so our chefs cooked up something extra special for them," Alex Santoro, the president of Popeyes, said in a press release. "It’s a fun way for guests to celebrate this milestone right along with us.”
The 24 Karat Champagne Wings are available today only and include six boneless wings, choice of a size and a warm biscuit for $5. There's one catch—they're only in select Popeyes locations nationwide:
