UPDATE: November 14 ,2018 at 12:12 p.m.
Wine-lovers, tomorrow is an important day. Vinebox's Twelve Nights of Wine advent calendar officially goes on sale. Until now, it's only been available for pre-order. If you haven't done that, get ready to purchase the box quickly tomorrow. It sold out within weeks last year. According to a Vinebox representative, the pre-orders will ship tomorrow, and cross your fingers that your box contains a golden bottle.
If you find a golden, sparkly bottle inside your box, that means you've won a FREE year-long Vinebox subscription (a $644 value). There will be ten lucky winners. May the odds be ever in your favor, my fellow wine enthusiasts!

Unwrapping a little piece of chocolate each day before Christmas is wonderful...don't get me wrong. But pouring a new kind of wine into a glass for 12 nights before Christmas—now, that is genius. Three years ago, Vinebox, a wine subscription service, created the world's first wine advent calendar. Naturally, people went n-u-t-s. The Twelve Nights of Wine box is notorious for selling out within weeks, and let me tell you—it definitely sounds worth the hype.
For $129, Twelve Nights of Wine comes with 12 different curated wines from Italy, France, Spain, and more. There's a glass of wine for each night, with labels on the box to keep you on track. (We won't tell if you have nights 2 and 3 on night 2, though).
This year, the packaging for Twelve Nights of Wine has chic gold elements. Inside the box, you can expect "bold reds for fireplace chats and wool blankets," and "rich whites as refreshing as a mad dash through the snow," per Vinebox's website. The box is designed so you can enjoy each night's glass without seeing what the next night's selection looks like. Grown-ups need fun surprises, too!
Apparently, Vinebox is really in the holiday spirit. Ten lucky people will find a special golden bottle in their Twelve Nights of Wine box. The golden bottle means you've won an annual subscription of Vinebox for 2019. That's worth $644, and more importantly, you get wine for a year! It's like Charlie & The Chocolate Factory, except a golden bottle of wine is wayyyy better than a golden ticket, in my opinion.
Whether you're treating yourself, or giving a friend the gift of twelve new wines to try, you should place your order as soon as possible. Twelve Nights of Wine is currently available for pre-order, and the boxes will begin shipping on November 1. Vinebox notes that they strongly recommend having your box shipped to a work address.
Cheers to the holiday season, and as Vinebox puts it: "It's not drinking, it's a wine tasting, and that makes it classy."
