Time and time again, Walt Disney World proves to fans it cannot be outdone. Each year there drops exciting additions to its parks. The new, limited-time experiences coming in 2019 are no different. Here's a look at everything coming next year.
After January 18, cruise through Magic Kingdom to find brand new live Mickey and Minnie-themed entertainment. The “Move It! Shake It! MousekeDance It! Street Party" will throw you back to the good ole days as they perform new takes of classic Mickey Mouse Club songs.
If that's not enough singing and dancing for one day, the Dapper Dans and other entertainers will also be taking over Main Street to be sing more songs in honor of your favorite big-eared couple.
On your itinerary should also be Disney's Hollywood Studios to see Pixar Place transformed into a Metroville city block...and to see your fav Incredibles characters, who you'll be able to party with! That includes Edna Mode, who'll showcase her super suit designs. If you want to find Jack-Jack, though, you'll have to look for super hidden clues. Elsewhere at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you'll find Mike and Sulley from Monsters, Inc.
The 25th anniversary of The Lion King will be celebrated at Animal Kingdom (duh!). That includes prime Instagramming opportunities, of course. You'll be able to pose in front of new three-dimensional photo opps that re-create scenes from the animated classic.
If you're more of the sit-back-and-relax-type of a person, head to Epcot's International Festival of the Arts to take in world-class culinary, visual and performing arts. This dreamy experience will run from January 18 to February 25. They'll also be running a Broadway and concert series, as well as other ridiculously fun, laid-back experiences.
Later in the year, Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy also joins Disney’s Hollywood Studios in the spring for a new show experience. Outside the Racing Academy, you can get buddy-buddy with Lightning McQueen’s speedy pal, Cruz Ramirez.
The sky is CLEARLY the limit for 2019. Time to start saving for a trip next year to the happiest place on earth.
