Flamin' Hot Cheetos are a truly epic snack—and I'd argue, experience. When you yank open a bag of Flamin' Hots, you've invested in chugging water every few handfuls, taking a break (because they're SPICY, hello?!), and then going back in. Forget typing on a keyboard or touching anything you care about—Flamin' Hot fingers are covered in a layer of spicy, red, Cheeto dust. For the love of God, do not touch your eyes!
High maintenance, perhaps, but Flamin' Hots are a-d-d-i-c-t-i-n-g. Now, the biggest fans can take their obsession to the next level, by dining at The Flamin' Hot Spot—Cheetos second pop-up restaurant.
L.A. chef, Roy Choi, has partnered with Cheetos to create Flamin' Hot Cheetos-infused menu items, and they look—well—hot. We're talking a Hot Cheetos Burrito, which looks like Taco Bell on another level. There's Flamin' Hot Elotes, aka street corn buttered and covered with White Cheddar Cheetos and Flamin' Hot Puffs. Sweet treat? Sure. Chester Cheetah's Churros are fried pound cake churros tossed in sugar and White Cheddar Puff Cheetos.
Last year's first Cheetos pop-up booked up in less than two hours, with thousands of names on the wait list, according to Cheetos. This year's Flamin' Hot Spot will offer a three-course, never-before-seen menu from Roy Choi "that perfectly blends his signature So-Cal culinary style with Flamin' Hot Cheetos." Other menu items include Flamin' Hot Chipotle Ranch Wings (wow) and Cheetos Sweet 'N Spicy Chili Meatballs.
The Flamin' Hot Spot will only be open to the public for three nights, from Tuesday, September 18 to Thursday, September 20. Limited reservations for this year's pop-up booked within an hour, but you can still add your name to the wait list!
If you won't be making it to L.A. for the short-lived pop-up (*wipes tear*), Cheetos suggests that you order the ingredients to whip the dishes yourself through AmazonFresh. You can download all of the flamin' recipes here. We also have these Flamin' Hot chicken tenders. You're so welcome.
