When a mom says no to taking her kid to get fast food for dinner, most kids would either sulk in their room, roll their eyes, or otherwise whine about it before eating whatever's on the table. Nine-year-old Kinsley James did something WAY more productive when her Taco Bell request was turned down, and it landed her a gig presenting at the fast food chain's annual convention.

The story starts in a very relatable way: Kid wants tacos. Kid asks mom to go to Taco Bell. Mom, who just put her "comfy pants" on, says no. From there, it veers off, all thanks to Kinsley's recent persuasive writing lesson at school.

Per ABC12, Kinsley wrote a letter to Taco Bell, which her mom later posted to Facebook.

In it, she said, "Today I really wanted Tacos, but my mean mom wouldn't take me and I'm only nine so I cannot drive." She then included a list of reasons Taco Bell and the general public would benefit by T.Bell delivery. A sample:

  • What if somebody just had surgery and cannot drive?
  • If you're feeling lazy but really want nacho fries.
  • This is a way to make more money.

She's a smart cookie! When Taco Bell caught wind of the letter, they called Kinsley to see if she wanted to read her letter at the company convention later this month in Las Vegas. More than 400 franchise owners will be present, plus the president of Taco Bell. While she is understandably "a little nervous," she'll be there.

Per ABC, Taco Bell's president of communications said Kinsley's letter "affirms the need for the company to move forward with plans to provide delivery service." And it may be happening sooner rather than later—a pilot program is underway in Indianapolis, IN, with plans to eventually roll out delivery nationwide. Nacho fry fans nationwide thank you for your help, Kinsley!
