According to Eater, the final season of Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown will air on CNN on September 23. It's also been confirmed the season — the show's 12th — will feature seven episodes: five on location and two tributes to Anthony.

Anthony was shooting this season in France over the summer when he died by suicide. The show's most complete episode will be its Kenya-centric premiere, as that's the only one that will feature Anthony's trademark narration. Other episodes this season will be set in Spain, West Texas, and Manhattan’s Lower East Side.

As far as the specials to follow the episodes, the first will be about “how Anthony Bourdain’s unique perspective and voice altered the world of food, travel, and culture and in the process reinvented how audiences watched television and engaged intimately and actively with the world around them,” a statement from the network explained. The final one will be more personal and showcase Anthony's relationships with his crew.

Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown will air on Sunday nights through November.
