It seems the world's love for all things Mamma Mia truly has no bounds, because hot on the tails of the latest hit movie, a sequel to the record-breaking 2008 adaptation, a completely immersive Mamma Mia experience/restaurant/party is coming to London's O2 arena next year.
Modeled after a party in ABBA's hometown of Stockholm, we're guessing the London party will bring similar vibes — basically any over-the-top Greek-themed fun you can imagine. During dinner, guests are treated to plenty of ABBA tunes and a little dinner theater. The menu for the party in Sweden includes classic mezze like tzatziki, hummus, olives and a buffet that features Greek salad, Fish stew, pork skewers, flank steak with artichokes, feta and red wine sauce, and yogurt pannacotta with a pistachio crunch, hazelnut and almond crumble.
Once dinner is over, the space is transformed into a glittery disco where you can indulge your very own dancing queen, and let's face it, have the time of your lives (had to.)
You can sign up now for priority tickets, and they officially go on sale sometime this fall. If you needed one more reason to plan a spring European vacation, this it — just think, you can hit London AND Greece (kind of) in one trip. So efficient.
