Ice is not something to get riled up, but in all fairness, it can be a pretty big annoyance. If you're not #blessed with an ice cube maker in your fridge, then you know the struggle of those stupid plastic ice cube trays that seem to break ALL the dang time. If they don't break, you're left struggling to twist and push until some ice cubes pop out, while simultaneously keeping them from flying onto the floor. As you can tell, this is a personal problem.

BUT, there's a seemingly genius invention called the Ice Genie that solves both the aforementioned problems and the issue of space in your freezer. An As Seen on TV product, naturally, the kitchen tool is cylindrical and blue and can hold up to 120 ice cubes at a time (made in batches of 40).

There are two chambers: one flexible silicon layer and an inner plastic layer. To make ice, you fill the Ice Genie up with water and pop it in the freezer. Wait a few hours, then take it out and pull out the inside cylinder. Squeeze the soft-sided outside cylinder and watch ice pour into the center.

The whole thing is a little bigger than an ice cream pint, and has a lid to seal it, so you can stack things on top of it in the freezer, unlike ice cube trays. It also doubles as a cooler if you want to pop a bottle of wine or ice cream carton inside after pouring out the ice. Sounds like a winner to me!
