Once upon a time (in 2017), Starbucks teamed up with lifestyle brand ban.do to create a collection of products. They were super cute, colorful, and fun. People were OBSESSED. The only problem? The collaboration was in Asia.
Naturally, people posted photos of the bright, tropical mugs, cold cups, totes, and more — prompting ban.do fans in the U.S. to wonder when they'd be able to get their hands on cute merch, too. Well, ladies and gentleman, the time has come.
After such a successful Asia Pacific collaboration last year, ban.do and Starbucks have created a limited-edition collection for the U.S. and Canada, per a press release. This marks the first time a ban.do + Starbucks collection will be available here and Canada (except for Quebec, sadly). The line of products comes as "a response to demand that was sparked from regional fans of the brands on social media after the success of the launch in Asia Pacific." It's nice to know that brands really are paying attention!
The collection includes two 24 oz. Starbucks Cold Cups, two Starbucks Double Wall Travelers, a ceramic mug, two notebooks, and a pencil pouch — each with a fall-inspired pattern with "a signature ban.do twist," according to ban.do.
The brand states, "The cozy icons design is ban.do's playful take on everything the brand loves about fall — rain boots, comfy sweaters, and a warm cup of coffee — with fun phases on a soft pink background."
An exclusive design for Target stores, called Midnight floral, features bright flowers on a black background. After last season's most popular floral pattern, ban.do has another signature floral for fall, as well.

ban.do reports that the Asia Pacific-exclusive collection sold out 75% on the first day in 2017. The fall collection will be available in select U.S. and Canada Starbucks License stores (such as grocery stores, airports, and college campuses) and Target starting tomorrow, September 5.
