If the return of the Pumpkin Spice Latte isn't enough to get you in a "fall" state of mind, Starbucks has seasonal food items that certainly will. This year, the coffee chain introduced a sweet treat that will undoubtedly pair well with a comfy sweater and hot coffee.

The Apple Cider Doughnut is "flavored with apple cider and balanced with sweet vanilla icing," per Starbucks. The donut also has a sprinkle of turbinado sugar for a crunchy finish.

So basically, it's a fall-flavored donut, right?! Starbucks fans on Twitter seem pleased with the new seasonal item.

#basicandproud is a hashtag I can get behind.

If you're not in a donut kind-of-mood ( how though?) Starbucks has two new muffins, as well. According to Starbucks' website, "pecans and maple syrup are perfectly blended" in the new Maple Pecan Muffin.

If you're wanting a less sweet option, the Morning Muffin is a "hearty muffin" made with rolled oats, carrots, zucchini, coconut, raisins, and walnuts. It's topped with pepitas, oats, and raw cane sugar, Starbucks notes.

Side note: this muffin actually has 10 more calories than the Apple Cider Doughnut, so I guess I HAVE to order the doughnut, right?!
