Jennifer Garner was spotted in a Cincinnati Kroger store on Thursday, but she wasn't filming a movie, rather recording an Instagram Story for Once Upon a Farm's cold-pressed baby food.
Since she co-founded the company in 2017, the team has gown to over 30 employees. She told People, "I will be a part of innovating on new products, participating in design, going on sales calls, and making sure the world knows we exist." And yesterday, that meant going to Kroger to host an impromptu taste test!
Believe it or not, a few shoppers turned down the eager, smiling, Garner saying, "I’m sorry, I’m really busy.", "Nah.", and simply "No."
She then frowns a frown that would rival even the hangriest baby, showing that even celebrity entrepreneurs have their struggles with acquiring new customers.
But don't be too sad for Jen. She later finds a shopper and a Kroger employee who both try the organic food — and have raving, positive reviews. And her success continues, as she meets a little shopper who tries the baby food, even going in for a second taste.
Mother of three, Garner told People, "I am passionate about childhood nutrition and making sure we are leaving a healthier and happier planet for the next generation."
