Calling all Simpsons fans: swinging by the Kwik-E-Mart to snag a Squishee drink is something you can officially brag about.
Myrtle Beach, South Carolina is now home to the world's very first permanent Kwik-E-Mart store — and they're not holding back one bit. The new store is designed to look just like the one on the show. Inside, you can stock up on Buzz Cola, Heat-Lamp Hot Dogs, Lard Lad Donuts, Squishees in a variety of flavors, Duff Beer, and Flaming Moe’s energy drinks. If that wasn't enough, they're also selling memorabilia from all your favorite Simpsons characters.
Fans are already flocking in. One Instagrammer snapped a shot and captioned, "Having a Lard Lad Donut and Squishee from Kwik-E-Mart."
The Kwik-E-Mart also has non-Simpsons related snacks too, if you're in the neighborhood and not looking to fill up on just Buzz Cola. With the shop will come a Simpsons 4-D movie later this year at the local Aztec Theater, themed after one of Springfield’s cinemas.
The Simpsons is the longest running American sitcom, so its fan base is BIG. We freaked when Krispy Kreme started making real-life versions of Homer Simpson's favorite hot pink sprinkle covered donuts. Now an entire store based around the show feels so right—and long overdue.
