The weather might still be sweltering, but that doesn’t mean it’s too early to dream about fall — and pumpkin spice latte season. Starbucks has even set up a Facebook group called the Leaf Rakers Society to hype up the impending release of its PSLs.
Starbucks is also releasing a product that will get you excited for scarves and sweaters again: pumpkin spice cookie straws, on sale at grocery stores this fall. The cookies are made from toasted, white chocolate-flavored wafers, rolled into straws and filled with white chocolate and pumpkin spices. Each container of 20 cookie straws retails for $6.99.
It’s one of two new additions to Starbucks’ pumpkin spice products at grocery stores. The second new item is K-cup editions of pumpkin spice flavored ground coffee, which is perfect for people who don't need the frothiness of a latte but still want pumpkin spice goodness in their caffeine fix.
There are already a list of long-running pumpkin spice Starbucks products on shelves, like K-cups of pumpkin spice lattes, bottled PSLs and pumpkin spice iced espressos, and Starbucks VIA instant PSLs.
And of course, you can get tons of pumpkin spice flavored stuff from other companies, too. Like Pumpkin Spice Frosted Flakes or Auntie Anne's Pumpkin Spice Pretzel Nuggets. Or, according to one expert, you can get the same PSL goodness from a slice of pumpkin pie, and even from a glass of Coca-Cola, so that can hold you over until leaves actually start changing color.
