It might be high summer, but these alternative advent calendars will make you wish it was December already.
Yankee Candle has unveiled its line-up of advent calendars for 2018 and each one is full of festive spirit. They also feature some of the four Christmas scents from the candle brand this year – Winter Wonder, Glittering Star, Frosty Gingerbread and Icy Blue Spruce. Here’s a first look at the three new designs:
Holiday Sparkle Advent:
This wreath-shaped calendar is filled with 24 tea lights, including new Christmas scents Blue Spruce (a blend of juniper berries, spruce trees and spearmint) and Glittering Star – a sweeter fragrance with notes of sandalwood, sugarplum and ginger. This version, which also contains a tea light holder, is the cheapest of the three at $29.
Fold Out Advent:
This design is filled with 12 votive candles, 12 tea lights and one votive holder. If you’re after a decorative calendar, it also folds out to reveal a pretty Christmas scene. It’s priced at $45.
Christmas Tower Advent:
The most luxurious calendar of the bunch, this one features ribbons on the side which can be tugged to reveal each day’s present. There are 24 boxes for the countdown to Christmas, with the treats including two small jar candles, 12 votive candles, six wax melts and a wicker trimmer. This striking tower-shaped design will set you back $86.
The advent calendars will be available from Yankee Candle in stores and online in October 2018.
