A 7.0 magnitude earthquake hit Lombok island on Sunday, reportedly killing multiple people and causing a brief tsunami warning. The earthquake also impacted Bali, which is 50 miles to the east.
This is obviously extremely scary and tragic news for the community at large, as well as the families who lost loved ones—and Chrissy Teigen happened to be in Bali during it.
The supermodel and chef is currently on vacation with her husband John Legend and their two children, and live-tweeted her experience during the earthquake.
According to CBS, the earthquake caused an electrical blackout, and also forced residents to leave their homes and seek higher ground. Chrissy continued tweeting about the event throughout Sunday afternoon as she experienced aftershocks:
