Hi, President Trump. As someone who recently saw footage of you at a rally on Tuesday, I'm here to say that you should probably stop pretending to be relatable.
See, at said rally in Tampa, Florida, Trump inadvertently showed the world that he has no idea how to grocery shop and probably hasn't stepped foot in a grocery store since we started having self-checkout lines.
Trump was attempting to make a case for voter ID requirements, which would disproportionately affect minorities and reduce voter turnout, by suggesting that you need a photo ID to do most things in this country: "If you go out and you want to buy groceries, you need a picture on a card, you need ID." Oh, Donald.
It's a cringey, somewhat confusing statement until you remember, oh, right, it's Trump, and he probably doesn't know how to cook food, much less buy it from a store. At least now, if the President is ever coming to your town and you want to avoid him, you'll know exactly where to go.
