Panera bread bowls are pretty great. Double Panera bread bowls sound even better.

Starting August 5, the chain will test a brand new concept that involves one loaf (an entire loaf!) and two cut outs that are ideal for "sharing with your BFF, significant other, or even a co-worker," Panera announced in a press release.

Of course, that's not to say you can't eat the whole thing yourself!

Customers can fill their bread bowls with any mac and cheese and soup combo. Or, if soup is your thing, fill it with two soups. Some of Paneras more popular flavors include broccoli cheddar, baked potato, and bistro french onion.

The double bread bowls will last until August 31 and — caveat — they're only available in Philadelphia. Customers in the City of Brotherly Love can also order the double bread bowl via delivery from their local cafes.

The Panera rep says all you have to do when placing an online order from delivery.panerabread.com, is "add an unsliced sourdough loaf to their cart and add 'make the sourdough a double bread bowl' in the special instructions."

If the launch proves successful, the rep explains that there's a "potential nationwide launch in the future."

Now, let's all say a quick prayer to the Panera gods that this catches on, so we don't have to move to Philadelphia to fill our double bread bowl cravings!
