Americans don't have to be told twice to "Eat Mor Chikin." For the third year in a row, Chick-Fil-A was named the nation's top fast food restaurant in terms of customer satisfaction, because how could you not be satisfied with a chicken sandwich dipped in Chick-Fil-A sauce?
Per Thrillist, the American Customer Satisfaction Index's annual study surveys 22,500 Americans on their experience at fast food and chain restaurants in a variety of categories. Using a 0-100 rating system, participants of the study rate each restaurant in categories including food quality, restaurant cleanliness, and waitstaff behavior. The results are then averaged into an overall score for industries and restaurants. According to ACSI, Chick-Fil-A had the highest customer satisfaction across the fast food AND the full-service restaurant categories, scoring 87 out of 100. "My pleasure" goes a long way, my friends.
Chick-Fil-A's score was a full five points higher than the runner-up, Panera Bread, and 10 points higher than KFC. Chick-Fil-A is already on its way to becoming the third-largest fast food chain in the U.S., and with this customer satisfaction rate, it seems that the chicken expert will make its way to the top sooner than later.
