Disney World is constantly dishing out the most delicious, Insta-worthy desserts (I'm looking at you, churro ice cream sandwich). Recently, a classic sweet treat in the park received an adorable upgrade — traditional beignets now have a Mickey Mouse shape.
Mickey-shaped beignets, fried to perfection with powdered sugar on top, have previously only been available at Disneyland. Per Popsugar, Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory at Disney World is the spot to grab the 'grammable snack. At the restaurant in the Port Orleans area, you can buy three beignets for $4. For two extra bucks, you have your pick of three dipping sauces: Caramel, Raspberry, or Chicory Coffee Ganache. Are you drooling yet?
Or, you might opt for a Mickey-shaped beignet sundae: three beignets topped with ice cream and sauce of your choice, and of course, whipped cream. Now that's $6 well spent.
Instagram users are pleased with the beignet makeover. One park-goer said, "We went to Port Orleans today to check out their new Mickey beignets and we must say they taste just like ones from New Orleans!"
Alright, looks like my next trip to Disney will be solely dictated by desserts. Mickey beignet sundae with caramel sauce, I'm coming for ya!
