Burger King and Budweiser are practically forefathers of America. (Ok, not really, but can you remember a time when they weren't around?!) This summer, the two are in cahoots and fully stunting, not only with an over-the-top new menu item, but a photo-worthy update to Burger King's crown. To unveil the partnership, Burger King remade Budweiser's classic “Whassup” commercial.
But back to the food: Burger King is rolling out an American Brewhouse King Sandwich which is loaded with two beef patties that are topped with thick-cut smoked bacon, crispy onions, tavern sauce, American cheese, and mayonnaise on a sesame seed bun. Run don't walk: The $6.19 burger is already in participating restaurants for a limited time only.
As for the new crown, they're calling it the "Freedom Crown," and it can hold both the American Brewhouse King Sandwich and a Budweiser beer. If you're 21, this is probably one of those photo-ops you'll want for later in the 'ol summer album, because um, this is hilarious.
