Sonic just about broke the internet with its recent "hell yeah, you can buy a pickle slush now" news, but what you might not know is that slushes aren't your only pickle-forward option on the chain's menu.

At a recent menu preview, Sonic VP of Product Innovation and Development Scott Uehlein told Delish one crucial way to hack the menu is to take advantage of the syrup that makes the pickle slush possible.

Uehlein and his team realized people were asking for a few pumps of pickle syrup to be added to other sweet choices, like cherry limeade. "Pickle juice theoretically could go into anything — anything that's a beverage, anything that's ice cream, it could get squirted on fries, anything," he said, adding: "You can do anything with it, not that you would."

When pressed, he reiterated you can put this syrup on A-N-Y-T-H-I-N-G on the menu — all you have to do is ask. A vanilla shake? Consider it pickled. An ultimate meat and cheese breakfast burrito? Pickle 👏 that 👏 shit. A million batches of tots and mozz sticks? Pickle-fied, no problem. In other words, Sonic's pickle syrup is "totally hackable," Uehlein said.

YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO.
