Though news of José Andrés's food hall has been around for awhile, new information on his NYC debut was confirmed last week, Grubstreet reports.

Mercado Little Spain will be entirely dedicated to Spanish cuisine and Spanish-made products. In other words (and according to the food hall's site), Andrés (in conjunction with the Adrià brothers) plans to create "an all-day destination for the very best of Spanish food, drinks, and culture."

Other things of note: the hall will open in the spring of next year and it'll be a 35,000 (!) square-foot space with both indoor and outdoor areas. Said gigantic loveliness will be located in the city's Hudson Yards under the High Line.

Andrés won't be the only celeb chef to have a monster holding there. David Chang and Thomas Keller are among those who have restaurants at the Hudson Yards.

The area is ready for him, calling Mercado Little Spain the chef's "most ambitious creation – a game-changing Spanish dining and market destination."

In the meantime, Andrés has remained heavily involved in human rights and political endeavors. He provided more than a million meals to Puerto Ricans affected by Hurricane Maria last year and cooked for those who protested in D.C.'s March For Our Lives protest in March.
