Auntie Anne's warm soft pretzel's are pretty next level. They're there to comfort you in some of the most stressful places, a.k.a during a long shopping day at the mall or into the wee hours of the night at the airport. It's hard to image they could get much better in taste but the company is letting fans try by voting in a new flavor to add to the soft pretzel roster.
Auntie Anne's, who's currently in the midst of its birthday-inspired 2018 Pretzel Nation Creation promotion, is asking fans to pick from 10 flavors narrowed down from the initial 650 suggestions that came through on social media. The contenders are Birthday Cake, Caramel Apple Creme Brûlée, Chocolate Coconut, Chocolate-Covered Cherry, Cookies and Cream, Cotton Candy, Lemonade Cake, Pineapple Upside Down Cake, Red Velvet Cheesecake, and Tiramisu.
Birthday Cake is currently in the lead with 73,520 votes, followed by Caramel Apple and Chocolate Coconut. We love anything birthday cake, so no complaints here, but a Cookies and Cream pretzel is something you can probably find sketched all over our dream journals. By some sorcery (or a slew of last minute voters) Cookies and Cream may still have a chance to sneak up from behind.
Voting runs through June 25 at www.pretzelnationcreation.com, and you can vote as many times as you'd like (cough, cough: get clicking Cookies and Cream fans).
The winning taste will be announced June 26 and available for a limited time this coming fall.
