Fast food joints have a reputation for supersizing everything. To take down a menu item, you usually have to prepare yourself, throw on your stretchy pants, and maybe bring a friend. But sometimes, you really just want a lil' sweet treat without committing to a meal-sized ice cream (we're looking at you, McFlurry). It's like McDonald's read our minds because the chain just announced a new, smaller size of the amazing dessert — the Mini McFlurry — so when the hankering hits, you have options.
The new Mini McFlurry is rolling out in flavors that already receive so much love, including Cadbury Dairy Milk, Oreo, and Cadbury Crunchie. Lucky for us, there are also two new additional tastes for summer: Flake Chocolate and Flake Raspberry. Waaahooo!
For now, the new size is only available in the UK, but maybe if we ask nicely, the fast food giant will consider bringing it overseas. The limited edition 'Flake' flavors in the smaller portion will only be available from June 27 to August 7 — don't screw up and totally miss out. You'll be relieved to know, too, the core flavors are here to stay.
So now, even after you opt for a Big Mac and a massive order of fries, there will definitely be room for dessert.
