Let's call a spade a spade: Cap'n Crunch looks straight-up jacked on the cereal's new summer box, and it's kindaaa weird. Who knew those guns were hiding under the captain's navy uniform?! It's almost as alarming as the Anthony Bourdain abs discovery of 2017. Anywho, once you push past the image of a flexed Cap'n, we can move on to the cereal itself.
This limited-edition summer box is called Beach Bash Crunch, hence Horatio Magellan Crunch's beach-going attire (full name, true story). The flavor isn't new — Junk Food Mom says it tastes similar to Crunch Berries — but the cereal does have a few tricks up its sleeve.

Instead of plain ol' puffs, the box comes with red and orange life preservers, dolphin, and starfish-shaped pieces. Like those shirts only found at the beach, the cereal changes colors. Instead of the sun, though, milk is responsible for the magic. When poured into a bowl, the cereal turns the milk turn blue, so it looks like your fishies are swimming in the sea. Kids will probably be all over this, and honestly it sounds pretty fun for adults too.
