Everyone knows ranch is a way of life. You can find fans pouring gallons onto their "salads". They're drizzling it on pizza. They're dipping quesadillas, fries, wings, chicken fingers, carrots, celery — basically anything that can dunk, into the beloved condiment. Because of its passionate following, Hidden Valley Ranch has made lots of Ranch swag for fans to express their love for the stuff like ranch fountains, bejeweled bottles, t-shirts, ranch koozies and even ranch kegs. But now, they've dropped a new edible reason to fangirl: ranch-flavored potato chips and popcorn.
Food blogger Junk Food Mom, first reported the new addition to Hidden Valley Ranch's roster, while at the Sweet and Snacks expo.
"I only got to sample a few morsels and they are great. The chips had more of a sour cream and onion flavor but the popcorn really had the HVR taste and was my favorite," wrote the blogger on Instagram. Though we can keep dreaming of chips that actually taste like ranch, we're definitely not complaining — sour cream and onion is definitely just as dreamy.
There's no word yet on when they're coming and where they'll be sold, but we'll be scanning shelves so check back for updates.
