Run, don't walk, to the nearest grocery store: You can officially get Strawberry Shortcake's iconic ice cream bars in cookie form. Oreo's newest limited-edition cookie hit shelves July 2, and it's already one of our favorites. The Golden Oreos are sandwiched around strawberry shortcake-flavored creme and crunchy strawberry flavored candy pieces, just like the outside of the ice cream bar.
Oreo also announced their next summer flavor, Rocky Road Trip, will hit shelves July 23. These chocolate cookies have rocky road-flavored creme and marshmallow pieces inside, as well as soy nut inclusions. We're not saying you should eat these over a bowl of Rocky Road, but we're not not saying it either.

Oreo's new flavor launches tend to go something like this: Someone leaks a photo or mock-up of a new cookie sleeve online, there's speculation over whether it really exists, and then, months later, Oreo finally confirms the existence of said crazy new flavor. Before long, there's another one at bay.
This year, Oreo presented six new flavors at the Sweets and Snacks Expo in Chicago. The cookies will roll out throughout the year, so the waiting game is still in effect, but at least now we know exactly what we have to look forward to (plus whatever additional flavors they inevitably spring on us). The flavors are all plays on actual desserts, so if you weren't a fan of Watermelon or Fruity Pebbles Oreos, you'll be pleased with the line-up.
Snack food connoisseur @JunkBanter posted sneak peaks of a few of the new flavors taken at the Expo, and while he wasn't able to taste them, the packages themselves might make your mouth water. Among the most exciting are the Good Humor Strawberry Shortcake Oreos, Rocky Road Trip Oreos — both of which are hitting stores this summer — and Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie Oreos, which have been talked about for what seems like FOREVER.
Also on the docket: Pistachio Oreo Thins, Peppermint Bark Oreos expected to drop in the winter, and a super cute Birthday Cake Oreo Mickey Mouse collab with Disney.
