After the royal wedding ceremony, all eyes were on Meghan Markle's stunning second wedding dress for her reception (you really need to read all the details about it), and Prince Harry's killer Jaguar. But between all that hoopla, everyone missed the sweet hidden detail on the car: its license plate!
Around 7:30 p.m. the couple zipped off in a blue E-type Jaguar Concept Zero on their way to Frogmore House, where their private reception was held. As they zoomed away, we caught a glimpse of the license plate, which read "E190518."
Now, it might look like a bunch of random numbers, but it's actually the couple's wedding date: 19-05-18, which is how British way to write dates (day-month-year). Here in America, it would read 05-19-18.
Awww.
This was such a nice detail, and one that was quite different from when Kate and William zoomed off after their ceremony. Back in 2011, Will drove Kate to Clarence House in Prince Charles' Aston Martin Volante sports car. The license plate simply read "Just Wed," in the back and the vehicle was covered in balloons.
In all honesty, it looked like Kate and Will had way more fun during their trip, but then again, Meghan and Harry looked like actual movie stars, so we love both equally.
