Despite spending hours sifting through TripAdvisor reviews and Airbnb comments before eventually booking somewhere to stay on vacation, there's always an underlying fear. When you turn up to the place, is it going to be exactly what you were anticipating?
That's exactly what happened to this woman when she turned up to her hotel in Vietnam and realized the pool was a little less impressive in real life than it was in the promotional shots of the outside area.
Jenny Kershaw wrote, "Our hotel pool in Vietnam ... booking.com VS reality 😂 😂 we’ve been done there" along with two photos of a swimming pool.
Only, er, in one photo, it's a beautiful, serene swimming pool that spans across the lens and looks big enough to host a whole crew of partygoers. And the other? A plunge pool that could be described as barely bigger than a bath. Uh oh.
The pictures have since had over 80,000 retweets and 170,000 favorites. Needless to say, other Twitter users are finding the whole thing hilarious:
