Gwyneth Paltrow has shared a picture of her mini-me daughter Apple on Instagram to celebrate her 14th birthday. The actress captioned the photo with a touching tribute to her "vibrant" teenage daughter, writing: "Happy birthday, my darling girl.
"You make everyday feel like Christmas morning. You are the most vibrant, hilarious, twirling all over the place, beautiful (inside and out) young woman.
"You are an amazing thinker and an incredible songwriter. Thanks for still hanging out with me, even though you are 14."
In the photo, a beach-happy Apple looks like the perfect combination of Paltrow and her father, Chris Martin. The Avengers star also posted a photo of herself naked and heavily pregnant with Apple 14 years ago to mark Mother's Day in the US.
Along with the striking image, Paltrow wrote: "Fourteen years ago on the verge of a life changing morning... To all of us, biological, adoptive, foster, spiritual, communal, all the den mothers and grand mothers and great grandmothers and great great grandmothers, all the way back, happy Mother's Day."
Paltrow and Martin welcomed their son Moses two years later. The couple then separated in 2014. It was recently speculated that Paltrow may have tied the knot with fiance Brad Falchuk after the pair held a lavish party in LA last month.
Guests included Jennifer Aniston, Ryan Murphy, Kate Hudson, Cameron Diaz, Julia Roberts, Liv Tyler, and Reese Witherspoon. Paltrow arrived wearing an oxblood Giambattista Valli gown, while Falchuk wore a white tux.
Blythe Danner - Paltrow's mother - was seen carrying a Monique Lhuillier bridal dress bag, giving one of the major clues that her daughter might have married at the venue.
Paltrow and Glee co-creator Falchuk confirmed their engagement back in February.
