If you can distinguish all five Skittles flavors in a blind test and count Halloween as your favorite holiday, you might want to brush up your resume. Mars Wrigley Confectionery, the company behind M&M's, Snickers, and Doublemint gum, among other sugary favorites, is hiring a Candy Connoisseur this summer.

The responsibilities sound more involved than just snapping some pics, but there is a year's worth of candy signing bonus, so whoever gets the job is obviously in for a good time. Mars Wrigley posted the 8 to 12 week internship today, and is accepting applications online now.

According to the job post, they're looking for someone that has a strong interest in “treating yourself,” is open to exploring new flavor combos, and knows his or her way around the candy aisle. More practically, they want someone with strong writing and communication skills, video editing and production skills, and the ability to travel to Mars Wrigley Confectionery offices. The job is based in Chicago and is a paid position.

Along with photographing, writing, and tweeting about candy, you'll get to do cool stuff like taste products, see how your favorite bar is made, and produce a personalized batch of gum at the company's pilot plant. In short, even Willy Wonka would be envious of this gig.
