Prepare yourselves for a new wave of pastel- and brightly-colored foods — National Unicorn Day is happening this April 9th. Among the ways to celebrate: a Candy Crunch Milkshake from Sheetz, the gem of the Mid-Atlantic.
We've seen plenty of candy-infused shakes before, but they're typically more sweet than sour. Sheetz's hot pink shake blends ice cream with Jolly Rancher candies and sprinkles and is topped with more candy and tons of whipped cream. If you're more into SweeTarts and Skittles than Twix and Kit-Kat, this one's for you.
Carl's Jr. tested a similar shake in two cities this past November, but this one's coming to the east coast. The Candy Crunch shake is available at all of Sheetz's 500-plus locations in North Carolina, the Virginias, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Maryland.
If you're not familiar with the convenience store chain, you're in for an actual treat. They have an insanely huge array of snacks and freshly-made meals. This may be the only place you can order tater tots, burrito bowls, donuts, breakfast sandwiches, pizza, burgers, pretzels and weirdly good soda all in one fell swoop. At any time of day. And fill your car with cheap gas. Did I mention it's amazing?
Beyond the Candy Crunch drink, available in stores now, Sheetz has tons of other milkshakes to choose from, including Cinnabon, Mint Cookies and Cream, Chocolate Fluffernutter, and Cake Batter Cream.
