From Starbucks’ Unicorn Frappuccino to Kellogg’s Unicorn Froot Loops to Sam’s Club’s unicorn pool float and Big Mouth’s unicorn sprinkler, it’s clear that the unicorn trend is here to stay. And now, Bustle reports that Target is the latest company to get in on the unicorn craze, offering a Unicorn Magic flavor of its Market Pantry line.
The Instagram account Candyhunting came across the new flavor at Target, and noted that “it has a pink fruity base with a sour blue raspberry swirl, a frosting swirl, and glitter candy bits.” According to the nutrition facts seen on the carton, each serving of Unicorn Magic has 220 calories, six grams of saturated fat, 24 grams of sugar, and 85 mg of sodium. Turns out even Unicorn Magic should be enjoyed in moderation.
BUY NOW Unicorn Magic Ice Cream, Target
According to Target’s website, Unicorn Magic Ice Cream is sold in 48-ounce tubs, but it’s only available at select stores and it’s not available to buy online. And a quick search on their store locator shows the product is definitely not available everywhere. So be sure to check the availability online before running to your local store, only to be disappointed. Target has not yet responded to a request for comment.
It remains to be seen how long the unicorn trend will last, but Starbucks has already moved on to the next thing: psychic food. Well, sort of. The brand's releasing a Crystal Ball Frappuccino this week. And though it might not actually predict your future (besides brain freeze), it does look like a liquified, edible crystal ball, complete with green swirls and three types of sprinkles.
