The combination of rosé and seltzer seems so perfect, we're surprised it hasn't happened already. Sure, Polar Seltzer has a solid Raspberry Rosé flavor, but there's no alcohol, so it's not quite what we were imagining, tbh. Thanks to Nauti Seltzer, a boozy version of the two is finally available, and basic or not, we have a feeling we'll be drinking it all summer.
Nauti Rosé is a malt beverage, like Mike's Hard Lemonade, Twisted Tea, and Smirnoff Ice. Instead of directly mixing rosé wine and seltzer (there's already plenty of sparkling rosé, after all) it adds mandarin orange, peach, raspberry and cherry flavors to the hard seltzer. And like Nauti's other seltzers, it's low-calorie and low-carb with 5% ABV.
The drinks will be sold in six-packs of 12-ounce cans beginning mid-March, though unfortunately you'll have to be in the New England area to pick them up. They'll also be added to Nauti's party packs soon.
The Massachusetts-based hard seltzer brand, owned by Wachusett Brewing, launched a line of fruity flavors like Blueberry Lemonade, Grapefruit, and Raspberry in 2016. But with hard seltzer booming — SpikedSeltzer, White Claw, and TRULY offer similar flavored drinks — companies need something special to stand out. Combining two of the year's most popular drinks is a surefire way to do that.
