Take 5 is by far my favorite candy bar, and has been ever since the first time I tried it. For those who are unfortunately unfamiliar with this gem of a treat, let me break it down for you. Take 5 is pretzel, peanuts, peanut butter, and caramel coated in milk chocolate. So, basically everything.

The reason I love it so much more than other candy bars is the much needed inclusion of salt that all other chocolate treats leave out. This is a topic I could talk about for hours, but I'll spare you. All this is just to say when I was tasked with creating a Take 5 pie, I was STOKED!

This pie is super over the top, and a perfect foil for the typical holiday pies. It starts with a salty-sweet pretzel crust, because pretzel's are the best part! Layered on top of the crust, there's a thin layer of melted chocolate, and a thick layer of a very magical combination of peanuts, peanut butter, and caramel. A thick layer of ganache tops that, sprinkled with crushed pretzels and peanuts, because why not? After a caramel drizzle, let the pie chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour to let all those lovely layers get acquainted. Trust me, after the first bite, it'll all be worth it.
