If you think fried Oreos are the best, you haven't tried deep-fried cookie dough. It's infinitely better. The outside is crispy, and the inside is gooey with lots of melty chocolate. It tastes like a chocolate chip cookie-dough stuffed donut hole and it's absolutely glorious.

Besides the fact that frying can be a lil messy and your kitchen will smell like a state fair, the process is pretty painless. Start by rolling cookie dough (we used store-bought!) into balls, then freeze them until totally solid. DO NOT SKIP THIS STEP! If you don't freeze the cookie dough, it'll immediately melt and ooze in the hot oil. Next, make a quick batter, which in all honesty, is just as easy as prepping Bisquick. Toss the cookie dough in the batter and you're ready to fry.

When it comes to frying, be sure to work in batches! Trying to fry too many at once will mess with temp of your oil. When the oil is the right temperature (around 360°), the balls will crisp up and turn golden within a few minutes. After that, all you need is a quick dusting of powdered sugar and a generous drizzle of melted chocolate. YOLO.

P.S. I can't stand fried Oreos or funnel cake, but I could not stop eating fried cookie dough. Even if you don't love fried food, it's in your best interest to try this one for yourself.
