A couple weeks ago, I was perusing Pinterest (as ya do) and came across a few recipes for a copycat "Texas Roadhouse Butter". Intrigued, I dug a little deeper — apparently this stuff has a cult following! Many bloggers have their own copycat recipes, all slightly different. Ours includes the classic ingredients cinnamon and honey, with some additional salt and vanilla to kick it up a notch.

This butter is SUPER easy to make. If you want it to have a nice spreadable texture, use a hand mixer. It's the easiest way to incorporate air into your butter and mixing all the add-ins in at the same time. Just make sure your butter is room temperature for easy mixing.

The recipe is super adaptable too. If two sticks is too much, just cut the recipe in half! (Though you'll finish it faster than you think.) The add-ins are flexible as well. Feel free to add in other baking spices like nutmeg or cardamom. Not a fan of honey? Try agave or plain old sugar!

The uses are just as flexible as the recipe. Obviously, it goes great with pancakes, waffles, or any of your favorite carbs. It'd also be amazing slathered on a baked sweet potato or tossed with some roasted carrots. Or, you could always keep it simple and spread it on a big piece of Texas toast.
