Grilling season is officially upon us! This year, we're trying to get a little more creative with our cookout offerings. We've got the fun sides and some crazy hot dogs, but our favorite way to get creative is with burgers. Theres so many ways to season and stuff, we're stoked to show off what we've learned so you can be the star of your next barbecue.
Turkey burgers are often overlooked for more classic beef burgers but they can be just as good if given the attention they deserve. Not to mention they're a little more beach bod friendly! These are stuffed with feta cheese and have a secret special sauce that you'll want to put on everything. The combination of lemon and dill gives this burger a bright tanginess that your average beef burger just doesn't provide. They might just be your new favorite, turkey or not.
If you're used to working with ground beef, turkey can seem different and a little scary. Never fear! It's just as easy as ground beef, it can just be a little sticky when forming into patties. I've found the best method is wetting your hands before handling the mixture, the water creates a little barrier and allows the turkey to stick to itself and not your hands.
So give beef some bench time and try your hand with a healthier option.
