Foil packs save people during the summer: They're the ultimate no-fuss dinner that you can throw on the grill. What's even better is being able to cook all of the ingredients at once. Here, I threw burger patties and frozen fries (yes, frozen!) into a foil pack, but you could totally do vegetables and make this a low-carb burger idea.
It might sound bizarre to not grill your burger straight on the grates, but this is perfect for camping or a group — or when you're straight-up too lazy to make a separate main and side. All you do is make burger patties and fold them up in foil with a handful of frozen fries.
After 10 minutes on the grill, you unfold the packs (use tongs — heat will escape!) and top the patties with cheddar. Fair warning: They don't look super pretty at this point. They don't have the gorgeous charbroiled look from the grill. But don't despair, once you top with cheese and get that melty, you'll love the results. Top 'em with whatever you like on your burger: tomatoes, lettuce, ketchup, and mustard.
